Ecopolitics Mission statement With all entrepreneurial activities Hartmann Codier undertakes, we assume an active role in reducing the negative effects to the environment to a minimum and commit ourselves to contribute to the optimisation of local, regional and global environmental issues. This we document through operational objectives we define for our activities. Checking the results in regular intervals is for us part of leadership responsibility. This is backed up by taking up the challenge of internal and external audits. We consider the statutory requirements as minimum requirements. It is our defined target to develop and manufacture products and services in such a manner to keep environmental pollution and stress on the lowest possible level. We also make joint efforts with our suppliers and business partners to improve the preservation of our natural resources. According to their tasks and duties, our employees are constantly informed, qualified and motivated with respect to the protection of our nature. Within their area of responsibility, our employees are obliged to realize and implement these maxims and to comply with the legally and officially imposed conditions . By way of implementing this mission statement, we finally aim at a continuous enhancement of the environmental performances considering thereby the environmental aspects and issues. In respect of our activities for the protection of the environment, we promote and encourage an atmosphere of openness and look for communicating with our employees and business partners. In the course of a management assessment carried out on an annual basis, the (lasting) effect and appropriateness of our ecopolitics is checked and revised.
